The purpose of the AMATS: Mountain Air Drive Extension project is to address safety concerns for the surrounding communities and to stimulate development in this region of Anchorage.
The U-MED district is located in northeast Anchorage, Alaska. It has been identified as one of the largest growing employment centers in Anchorage and is expected to continue to grow over the next 20 years.
This Design Study Report (DSR) was prepared in support of the New Seward Highway (NSH) Rabbit Creek to 36th Ave.
This project was proposed to increase capacity and create a more direct east-west connection between Old Seward Highway and C Street.
