Summary:

Driving Simulators require development of complex environments to re-create real world driving scenarios. The goal of this project is to create a realistic driving simulator of the University of Alaska Anchorage campus. The primary purpose is to develop the UAA road network. The secondary purpose is to train and evaluate driving performance of adults. The project uses state-of-the-art day modeling and game engine tools to build the UAA campus. The report will include how the campus was built in Blender and how the Blender game engine manages interactions between objects. It will also provide a conceptual graphical user interface for changing in game settings such as traffic and pedestrian saturation. Development for the project after a finished environment is also discussed.
