Summary:
Engineering on Display is a student project in partnership with Siemens. The purpose of the project is to create an application that will run on touch screen monitors in the new engineering building. The application displays utility usage and other various data relevant to the building. The sensor readings are sent from Siemens to a server and stored in a database. From this database the data is read and interpreted through the Android application and web page interface. Both the application and the website display the information in graph form. The project is fully functional and is planned for further future development by students.
